Beginning in March 2020, RocketRez released a COVID-19 screening questionnaire, liability waivers, contactless payments and check-in, SMS booking and ticketing and socially distanced assigned seating for passenger vessels.
The Re-Opening Package was rapidly designed and iterated to fit the moving target of reopening guidelines in multiple countries and business verticals including Museums, Attractions, Zoos, Aquariums and Boat Tours. Implementing this technology, to fit the nuances of many different types of operations, lead to a highly consultative process with our current customer base and rapidly building partnerships with multiple third-party technology providers.
The results were staggering: combined with our flexible online ticketing engine, many RocketRez customers were able to maintain or increase their bookings and revenue while decreasing overhead. Many customers have remarked they believe the innovations provided have improved their user experience – and will become the standard well beyond COVID-19 protocols being lifted.
RocketRez was able to increase its customer base 75% year-over-year in 2020, despite the unprecedented slowdown in the tourism industry.
