As a result of a collaboration between Warner Bros Global Themed Experiences and Dama Dreams – a studio specializing in the creation of immersive experiences – this venue is exceptional in several respects:

iMMERSIVE EXPERIENCE

  • It’s the largest escape game in France, with 2 800 sqm of ultra-realistic settings inspired by the world of the Dark Knight. An entire street of Gotham City is reconstructed, and there are 3 live experiences as well as an immersive bar and the first exclusive DC Comics store in Paris.
  • Numerous actors and street performers representing major characters from the Batman universe are featured, including Harley Quinn and Lucius Fox. The official French voices of Batman, The Joker and The Penguin have also produced exclusive content.
  • Opened at the beginning of July 2023, the experience has been a great success, with more than 100 press articles and a big attendance since the opening.

This is the first time in Europe that Warner Bros has licensed the Batman IP for a live experience that will last over time. Their unprecedented partnership with our French studio is a major milestone not only for Warner Bros. but in the immersive sector.

This project incorporates multiple immersive aspects :

  • Main characters like Batman, the Joker and even the Gotham City Skyline are represented through CGI original creations and video mapping to instill a new use of these technologies inside the experience. Spectators are at the center of the story, and they need to act in order to make the story move forward. As an example, in a fully projection mapped rooftop, surrounded by the Gotham City skyline, repairing the Bat-Signal will activate the arrival of Batman who will then give the players a mission.
  • Sound designs and scent designs are preeminent : As you go through the sewers or inside a hidden subway, all your senses are activated to entice different feelings.
  • Lighting designs interacts with the players actions and choices all along the games. In addition, the venue is filled with more than 200 Hue bulbs with lighting scene evolving all day long. In addition, we’ve worked with traditional neon artists.

The Batman IP has been lasting for more than 80 years ; as such families, friends and corporate events are our core audiences. Ideally located in the heart of Paris, tourists and exceptional events have also lots of interests for our venue.

Finally, Batman Escape is a one-of-a-kind venue in France : no other IP has been used to create and operate a permanent indoor FEC in France.
