The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s new immersive children’s space , Met 81st Street Studio, features open-ended digital interactive experiences with innovative form factors like projection, gesture, computer vision, and physio-digital making. We created several interactive moments.
For example, the Art Tech Tree is a responsive, playful, and inspiring work space where kids independently create real objects and combine them with projected digital layers to iteratively investigate a breadth of material properties.
While at the Ramble, kids will unlock creative possibilities through light. Kids will understand how light’s unique properties allow interesting experimentations with color, shadow, and distortion.
