However, what would it look like if a venue was purpose-built for large scale concerts from the outset, focussed on the unique needs of artists rather than athletes? What if the audience could experience the resulting show either from the convenient luxury of their hotel room on-site, or from the fun atmosphere of a lagoon? And what if A-list artists had all of the high tech tools that they need for performance on hand, thereby minimising touring overheads and making setup efficient?
The VAI resort, under construction in Glendale, Arizona, answers all of these questions with a concept-redefining venue built with performance as the primary purpose.

From ‘load in to encore’, every detail at VAI is intentionally crafted to be more than just another tour stop: World class in-house facilities coupled with a luxury resort make VAI a singular destination for both artists and guests.
Audiences are immersed in an all-encompassing experience: over 1000 rooms of 5-star luxury accommodation, complete with stunning views over the rotunda stage, dining, retail and the unique opportunity to enjoy the show from the pool.
From the guests’ experience, to engineering the enormous multi-part rotunda stage’s LED screens – TAIT and VAI are partnering to provide a one-stop-shop to meet the demanding wish lists of the world’s top live artists and today’s discerning audiences, by including both visible elements such as the ingenious rotating screens and the steel structures required for heavy entertainment, and also the invisible essentials that make for efficient delivery of the best show: from streamlined load in paths to all of the electrical infrastructure needed for shows that incorporate the latest high-tech elements.
The stage itself features massive, moving LED screens—an engineering marvel in their own right: the multi-part rotunda screen features sixteen 28ft tall by 10ft wide sections, each capable of rotating and moving independently. These panels are designed to move across the stage or encircle it, forming a screen that dramatically opens to reveal the artists or form a dynamic background around or behind the performance.
From decades of experience in engineering record-breaking concerts, TAIT knows what the biggest acts need to make the crowd go wild, and are making sure that this resort ticks every box.
