It is a fully realised town inhabited by eccentric characters and full to the brim with mysteries and stories to discover. Guests spend over four hours exploring the town, enjoying food and drink in our wild-west themed Thirsty Frontier Saloon, and interacting with immersive sets, technology, and live actors.
When you visit as a tourist, everyone you meet is part of the town – from the staff in the Saloon to the live actors placed around the town.
As well as meeting people, you also interact with the larger-scale world through technology. You might find yourself using the Jonagraph to speak to a mysterious figure in Revenant Canyon, or consulting the Jonaco Archive’s helpful assistant Klacky for more information. This technology is all seamlessly integrated into the fabric of the town, expanding the world beyond the four walls of the venue.
Phantom Peak is powered by the trail system, an innovative way to keep guests moving across the 30,000 sqft space and engaging with the intricate world. Through a web-app on their phones, tourists are taken on mini-stories that see them engage with actors, sets, and interactive technology. Each trail has a beginning, middle and satisfying ending, and each plays their part in the wider story of the town.
Phantom Peak is an evolving town with time moving on every 3 months in the form of seasons. With each new season, we introduce new technological content, change characters, and write new engaging stories for people to uncover. These seasons result in a never-the-same experience, encouraging repeat visiting and investment in the experience by guests. For example, we have over 500 dedicated superfans who return 6-7 times per year and are recognised by our characters and acknowledged as part of the fabric of the town.
