When visiting the land, guests will regularly encounter their favourite characters. Queen Elsa and Anna roam throughout the land all day, greeting guests and playing games with them on this special day. What is incredible about the land is how regular character greetings are not needed. This is a living land, and Elsa has her own agenda as she moves through the land. Kristoff may be be delivering ice, Oaken inviting people to his sauna, and Queen Anna looking for her friend, Olaf. Interactions with the characters are about engaging in activities with them, not passively taking photos.
There is also live music that fills the land in celebration of Summer Snow Day. Queen Anna has commissioned a troupe of three musicians to entertain during the festival. These talented townsfolk are well known in town for their smiles, songs, and stories, and if you’re not yet a friend, you will be!

In addition to the working cast members in the land, actors will portray citizens of Arendelle roaming around the Living Land and interacting with Guests. Each actor will have a rich backstory of how they relate to the land, such as their vocation or relationships. This is also the perfect chance for an adorable and curious baby troll named Mossie, carried in a cosy basket by a villager, Nari (meaning ‘teacher’), to interact with travellers and make new friends. The baby Troll loves meeting the guests and the magic of this character is in the interaction that requires no language.
Anna & Elsa’s Playhouse in the Woods meet & play experience is a multi-sensory, immersive theatrical experience located in the forest outside the Kingdom of Arendelle.
Guests will embark on a journey of transformation as they enter the world of the Frozen films, becoming part of the story, while meeting and interacting with their favorite Characters. This moment will ultimately become a co-creation story empowering the guests and encouraging all to immerse themselves in the World of Frozen.
Projection elements, playful Character interactions, special effects and live show moments will combine to create an unforgettable and magical experience for guests of all ages, redefining the character meet and greet experience.
The experience begins like a traditional theatre show, with Anna & Olaf welcoming you to the space. Olaf speaks Cantonese, so covers multiple languages. However, once we call Elsa with a song of the Northuldra, the experience comes to life. The curved LED screens that seamlessly blend with the 3D scenic pieces come to life with 4D effects such as smoke, aromas, water and wind, all come to life.
The experience shifts away from a traditional theatre setting as guests move throughout the room, joined by Anna and Elsa who guide you to the statue you feel connected to. Here, Elsa and Anna bestow upon guests the personality of their chosen element, supported by immersive sounds and lighting at each statue. Projection mapped content wraps the room during each element’s arrival, of which there are four different options, driving repeatability, as well as fully animated content on the LED screens.
The experience is all around you, and you are part of the reason the magic is working, you are giving yourself to the experience. Finally, Elsa freezes the room as she feels at home and comfortable to show her powers in this space. Snowfall fills the rooms and guests play with Elsa and Anna together until the end of the magic and our Queens bid farewell.
There is so much unexpected detail and magic within the room, and you are engaging actively with the characters along with the rest of the audience that you can’t help but feel you’ve had your own private experience with Anna & Elsa, providing an experience far beyond what is possible in a meet and greet.
