In line with its ambition to continuously elevate its dynamic line-up of rides and attractions, Yas Waterworld recently launched the UAE’s first-ever Underwater VR experience.
The experience allows guests to jump into the fantastical world of virtual reality while submerged in water for an unprecedented immersive sensory experience.
Whether gliding down mountainous slopes, floating high in space or drift drive in the ocean, the new attraction takes guests on incredible journeys to four different worlds of water experiences: Ocean DIVR which allows guests to drift dive through the most amazing parts of the ocean; Sky DIVR where guests will glide weightlessly down the slope of a gorgeous mountain; Space DIVR which allows guests to float high above the earth and explore the abandoned space station; and lastly for the more daring guests ‘Journey to Lost City’ where guests will travel into the brave dangerous waters of Lost City.
The Underwater VR experience is the UAE’s first-ever Underwater VR experience
The Underwater VR experience allows Yas Waterworld to really ‘dive deep’ and go beyond the confinements of its physical space to create never-before-seen experiences.
It leverages the latest state-of-the-art technology within the entertainment industry and places a keen focus on interactivity to curate an incredibly immersive and personalized experience for guests.
The same attraction is able to take guests on incredible journeys to four different worlds of water experiences:
- Ocean DIVR: Guests will have a chance to drift dive through the most amazing parts of the ocean, visiting underwater wrecks, coves and submarines.
- Sky DIVR: Guest will glide weightlessly down the slope of a gorgeous mountain, soaring over waterfalls and flying into glorious canyons.
- Space DIVR: This world allows guests to float high above the earth and explore the abandoned space station.
- Journey to Lost City: For the more daring ones, this world will take guests into the brave dangerous waters full of mysterious creatures with a friendly seal as he guides you to Lost City
